osx - Arduino not connecting to computer after working before -


i bought arduino uno r3 few months ago. it's been working charm since then, today, stopped interfacing computer. let me more specific. have 2013 macbook pro retina os x 10.9 (mavericks). has latest arduino ide installed.

i using today , after uploading simple sketch (it worked little while) mac stopped recognizing it, , since, haven't been able access it. led connected pin 13 stays on 100% of time. rx/tx leds don't flash, main functions of sketch (other serial functions).

have screwed arduino's serial chip? can do? 15, $30 little bit spend one.... :)

update: forgot mention have tried other windows computer, , cable, rule out possibilities.

that common issue arduino. used face problem time while using arduino. though never found solution this, problem did go away after sometime. did try resetting uc using reset button on board, or restarting ide or system if neither worked?

make sure have chosen right com port. on windows system can going device manager , ports tab under it.
