multithreading - Setting Number of Threads in Distributed Testing in JMeter -

i have test application 1000 users. that, have set load testing environment 20 machines. each machine generate load of 50 vusers.

so, need confirmation number enter in 'no of thread (users)' generated slave machines. in case, should enter 50 , not 1000 here.

when running in distributed testing (master/slaves) environment, have option of configuring slaves differently. start jmeter on slaves manually, , use master tell slaves when start sending requests server(s) being tested. jmeter document describes distributed testing environment pretty well.

in case, sounds want slaves behave same, setting number of threads 50 each of 20 slaves correct thing do.
