asp.net - ASP CLASSIC and Procedural programming -
whats opinion of using this? went interview graduate job , pretty using. asked oop used , more updated versions apparently not planning upgrade time (small company). reckon have shot of getting job guess i'd little bit of advice outside realms of code issues , opinion of coding way / general guidance.
classic asp.net webforms still full of object oriented programming concepts can't skirt around (every component on page object w/ methods, etc.) should familiar it.
asp.net webforms has come long way , still has ton of interesting problems solve. personally, think it's more of challenge write webforms code asp.net mvc.
either way, you'll learn ton priceless when getting first gig after graduating. if nothing else, you'll hands on experience writing production code , great glimpse why many people have made leap mvc (and strengths/weaknesses of each paradigm are).
