active directory - Check AD for same passwords -


we have issue @ work many people have same password , end logging other user's accounts. not helped group leaders insist work passwords should similar.

i know different issue, there way check ad , these users have same password?

no way since passwords separately hashed. however, go on , push button enforcing change password, put policies on how password shall , forcing passwords changed every 30-60-120 days. highly unlikely people change password same one.
