php - #2002 Cannot log in to the MySQL server / Connection for controluser as defined in your configuration failed -


i use php/mysql in ubuntu 13.

to reduce size of ibdata1, followed post https://dba.stackexchange.com/questions/8982/what-is-the-best-way-to-reduce-the-size-of-ibdata-in-mysql , make necessary changes told in answer.

i did set password phpmyadmin when installed it. after restarting mysql, , when try login phpmyadmin password, error thrown out.

#2002 cannot log in mysql server

connection controluser defined in configuration failed.

can please tell me, went wrong. followed steps correctly , sure that. wanna login phpmyadmin. tell me how can reset password?
