a plugin is needed to display this content (svg) -


i have program return svg data, chrome & firefox complain "a plugin needed display content". used fiddler trace http response , save data svg file. chrome/firefox can display svg file. chrome/firefox not display during http response xml format svg data. svg header missing something?

as arkascha suggested, check mime type (content-type) web server sending svg file. can see in firebug "network" tab. should "image/svg+xml". if not, need adjust web server configuration.
